When I purchased my first web hosting plan, I didn’t know what I was looking for. I based my buying decision on price, as opposed to quality. Eventually, my purchase turned out to be a burden because my hosting providers servers always crashed. So, today we’re going to talk about 3 elements quality web hosting plans offer so you can know what to look for when you decided to purchase hosting for yourself.

Element #1 – All Inclusive Hosting Plan: Some hosting companies offer their hosting services a la carte. This means you’ll have to purchase your hosting, your domains, and your emails separately. Based on your business, this might be the best plan for you. However, if you’re like most businesses, you’ll be expanding in the future. If that’s the case, the last thing you’d want is to have to purchase new emails and more hosting space every time you wanted to add something new to your website. That’s why it’s best if your purchase a web hosting plan that’s all inclusive: you get everything in one package instead of separately. For as little as $9 a month (a days lunch for some people), you can purchase a web hosting plan that offers unlimited domains, emails, and other important web hosting services you’ll need.

Element #2 – Great Customers Service: The last thing you want is terrible web hosting with terrible customer service. When I was having my hosting issues, I would contact my hosting provider and literally wait on the phone for what felt like hours. And once someone did come on the phone, I would always get redirected to someone else. Ultimately, I ended wasting my time going through their phone tree merry-go-round. So before you purchase your hosting plan, I’d encourage you to call them up to see how easy it is to get in contact with them, how helpful their staff is, and what type of customer support they offer. Trust me, it’s well worth the time. So make the most of it.

Element #3 – One-Click WordPress Installs: If you’re going to build a website in this day in age, I’d recommend building it with a content management system (CMS). And the best CMS in my humble opinion is WordPress. A CMS like WordPress will allow you to manage your website yourself with little to no website experience. It stores all your content in one database and also allows you to change your websites “design theme” without messing up your content. So with that being said, it’s important that your web hosting plan comes with one-click WordPress installs. This will allow you to set up websites quickly, which will help you be more time efficient so you don’t waste precious time trying to figuring things out that only require one click in WordPress.

Your web hosting plan is the backbone of your website, so it’s imperative that you purchase a quality plan. Now that you know what a quality web hosting plan should look like, you shouldn’t have to experience the hosting horrors I did. With a great all inclusive hosting plan, great customer service, and one-click WordPress installs, your website will have the strong, solid foundation it needs to be successful. And remember: you get what you pay for, so make the most out of your investment.

When it comes to domain names, people love to choose web address with their names in it, or their business names in it. Purchasing web addresses with your name in it is a great way to claim your web real estate, but when it comes to search engines, those names typically aren’t the keywords people are using to find the solutions that you offer. So, today we’re going to talk about selecting the best domain names for your small business website. Specifically, we’re going to talk about keyword rich domain names and vanity domain names, and the impact they have on your business.

Type #1 – Vanity Domain Names: Web address with your business name, your name, or any other name are called vanity domain names. Unless you’re a celebrity already though, these aren’t then best web addresses to use if your goal is to solve problems and offer value. While it isn’t the end of the world if you use a vanity domain name, if you have to opportunity to choose the second type, you’re in much better shape when it comes to the search engines, and your websites rankings in the search results.

Type #2 – Keyword Rich Domain Names: Web addresses with keywords that your prospects and customers are using in the search engines are the best domain names you can choose. Not only will they help you rank higher in the search engine results, but they will also help you stand out from the crowd. So, if your goal is to add value to society by providing a quality product that offers a unique solutions, do yourself a favor and choose a keyword rich domain name that your target market is using in the search engines.

Imagine you owned a collection of cleaners in the same geographical area, say Los Angeles, CA, and you wanted to build a website to bring in more business. Without knowing what you know now, you’d probably select a domain name like this:

www[dot]YOURBSINESSNAMEHERE[dot]com

While this domain might make you feel better about yourself and your business, if your goal is to bring in more business, then that name wouldn’t be the best domain name you could select for your website since the only people who know your name are you and your current customers.

On the other hand, if you choose a domain name with your city and your business type in it, not only would you increase your probability of ranking high in the search engines, but you’d also have a domain name that people are actually using in the search engines. For example:

www[dot]LOSANGELESCLEANERS[dot]com

This might not be your “dream” domain name, but it will work bring in a better lead than your name or your business name.

When it comes to the Internet, you want to give yourself as many opportunities as you can to rank at the top of the search engines, and keyword rich domains help you increase your probability of success. Now that you have a better understanding of the two types of domain names and how to use them, you can now choose web addresses for your small business websites that are actually going to help you bring in more traffic. If you’re a celebrity already, you’re actually better off using vanity domain names, but if you aren’t, I’d encourage you to use keyword rich domain names until you become one.

The root cause of most, if not all relationship issues is immaturity and/or selfishness because most individuals in relationships refuse to take personal responsibility for their actions. They refuse to admit when they’re wrong, and blame everyone else but themselves for the issues they face in their relationships.

For example, imagine you’re a woman who gets upset over the fact that your partner doesn’t put the toilet seat down after he uses the restroom. You’ve told him time and time again to put the toilet seat down, but for some reason, he just doesn’t. Each time he leaves it up, you tell him to go back in the bathroom to put the seat down, which he always response to with a firm, “Put it down yourself.”

And that’s when it all begins.

You yell at the top of your lungs to get your point across and so does he. You make your point that he needs to put the toilet set down because that’s the tradition, and he makes his point that it really doesn’t matter to him because it’s just a toilet seat that you could easily put down yourself. Ultimately, after an hour or so of arguing, you finally go put the seat down since you now have to use the restroom yourself.

As a man, I really don’t see what the issue is. Unless he doesn’t flush the toilet, the worst that could happen is…well, I really don’t see anything bad happening in this instance.

However, I’ve been told in the past that a woman is so adamant about the seat being down so she doesn’t fall in the toilet at night when she uses it. How that would happen is beyond me, but that’s the reason why women tell me men need to put the seat down.

So, you might be asking yourself, “What does immaturity and selfishness have to do with anything?”

It’s simple.

In my humble opinion, I believe the woman is immaturity for not putting the toilet seat down in the first place, if it being down was that important to her. And the man is selfish for ignoring his partners request – that is, if she asked politely – to put the toilet seat down as well.

Both parties are in the wrong. However, neither wants to take responsibility for their actions. The woman feels the man is wrong for leaving it up. And the man feels the woman is wrong for telling him to put it down.

Honestly, I don’t see why it’s so important for a man to put the toilet seat down after he uses the restroom. If you’re a woman who finds herself falling in the toilet often, do yourself a favor and look before you sit down.

Personally, I don’t believe men leave the toilet seat up on purpose so their partner falls in. I know I don’t.

So, what can we do to make sure that you don’t waste an hour of your time arguing over who should put the toilet seat down?

If you’re a woman, if you need to use the restroom and the toilet seat is up, just put it down so you can do what you have to do and be done with it. Have you ever thought about the fact that the man has to lift it up every time he has to use the restroom? It’s either that, or risk him pissing on the seat, and maybe cleaning it up. Now, if you’re purposely going in the restroom every time your man uses the restroom to make sure he puts the seat down, without you having to use the restroom yourself, you’re a control freak and need to check yourself. Remember: it’s just porcelain.

Now, if you’re a man, if you use the restroom, and leave the bathroom without letting the toilet seat down, and you’re woman comes in to let you know about it, if she politely ask you to put it down, go put it down. She took your feelings into consideration and asked you politely, so take her feelings into consideration, and return the favor.

On the other hand, if she doesn’t ask you politely to put the toilet seat down, or TELLS you to go put the toilet seat down, as if you were some animal, then to hell with her and her request. She obviously doesn’t respect you – and more than likely you don’t respect her if she doesn’t respect you – so don’t waste your time trying to be a good guy for someone who doesn’t deserve it.

Like I said earlier, the root cause to most, if not all relationship issues spawns from immaturity and/or selfishness. If you want to have a very unsuccessful relationship, continue to be immature, selfish, negative, mean, and surly to each other. Trust me; I’ve had my fair share of those. But if you want to have a successful relationship, without as many arguments, make a personal effort to be polite, nice, considered and positive to each other and your unique needs.

It’s easy to be negative, which is why most people act that way. But it takes just as much effort to be positive.

At the end of the day though, it’s your choice.
